Follow clear step-by-step instructions to install your travel eSIM, choose the right data line, and connect when you arrive at your destination.
Install the eSIM while you still have reliable internet. Do not remove your primary SIM. When you reach your destination, select the eSIM for mobile data and turn on data roaming for the eSIM line if your plan requires it.

iPhone
For iPhone XS, iPhone XR, and newer models, you can add an eSIM from Settings, Camera, a QR code in email, or manual details.
On recent iOS versions, tap and hold the QR code in your email or browser, then choose Add eSIM. If that option is not available, open the QR code on another screen and scan it with your iPhone.
Samsung Galaxy
Most compatible Samsung Galaxy phones let you add an eSIM from SIM manager using a carrier QR code.
Other Android phones
Menu names can vary by brand, but the setup path is usually under Network, Connections, or SIM settings.

Yes. Most phones let you keep your regular SIM for calls and SMS while using the travel eSIM for mobile data.
Many travel eSIM plans require data roaming on for the eSIM line. Keep roaming off on your primary SIM if you want to avoid carrier roaming charges.
